Samsung's Galaxy S2 sales top 20 mn units

Samsung Electronics Thursday said the global sales of Galaxy S2, the tech firm's flagship smartphone, topped 20 million units 10 months after its debut.

According to an e-mailed statement by Samsung, more than 20 million units of Galaxy S2 smartphone model were sold at home and abroad since April last year when the product was rolled out, reported Xinhua.

Combined sales of Galaxy S2 and its predecessor model Galaxy S reached over 40 million units, according to the statement.
