BEIJING, Jan. 8, 2021 (Xinhua) -- A city-wide COVID-19 vaccination campaign among specific groups of people with higher infection risks has kicked off in Beijing.
According to Beijing health authorities, nine groups of people aged 18 to 59 will receive the vaccine before the Spring Festival, which falls on Feb. 12. They include frontline customs inspectors of imported cold-chain goods and personnel working in the overseas and domestic transportation sector.
The city's Chaoyang District alone will see some 200,000 people receive the vaccines at 43 sites.
