SHENYANG, June 23, 2022 (Xinhua) -- Covering an area of 2.9 million square meters and with an overall investment of 15 billion yuan (about 2.2 billion U.S. dollars), Plant Lydia of BMW Brilliance Automotive(BBA) was officially opened on Thursday in Tiexi District of Shenyang City, northeast China's Liaoning Province.
Auxiliary facilities such as final assembly lines as well as large data centers of the plant have been put into operation so far.
The new plant increases the annual production capacity at BMW Shenyang Plants to 830,000 vehicles.
