VIENNA, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition of traditional Chinese design patterns opened here on Thursday, bringing the charm of the Chinese art to the Austrian audience.
More than 100 works of art, including traditional Chinese costumes, paintings and innovative designs, are on display at the exhibition to fully showcase the beauty of Chinese design patterns.
The exhibition, co-hosted by Minzu University of China and the Confucius Institute at the University of Vienna, will run till Oct. 9.
Xu Jin, curator of the exhibition and an associate professor from Minzu University of China, said the event is aimed to promote international exchanges on traditional Chinese design patterns and contribute to the innovative development of the traditional art.
