XIAMEN, May 26 (Xinhua) -- The 40th China Sport Show opens its doors in Xiamen, an eastern coastal city in China, on Friday.
Spanning across 150,000 square meters, this sports expo features four sections and anticipates an attendance of 1,565 exhibitors and over 100,000 visitors.
The inaugural China Sport Show took place in 1993. Thirty years on, the event has blossomed into one of the most influential expos within China's sports industry.
The 2023 rendition of the show breaks traditional norms, exploring cooperation opportunities in diverse areas, such as "sports+culture", "sports+tourism", "sports+medical", "sports+education", and other "sports+" enterprises.
In addition to the exhibitions, the show hosts various forums, including the China Sports Industry Summit and the China Digital Sports Industry Summit. Concurrently, it invites visitors to participate in the household fitness products trial, fitness championships, and other interactive activities.
