SYDNEY, NSW, Australia - Two Australian men are to face court accused of striking women during a cruise on a ship which docked in Sydney.
The charges allege a series of assaults were carried out by one of the men, and that one of them kicked a woman.
The incidents involving the two men were unrelated, a statement issued by Australian Federal Police (AFP) on Saturday said.
Both men were charged on Friday.
In the most serious set of charges, a man aged 24, from the Sydney suburb of Arncliffe, is alleged to have assaulted a woman multiple times during the cruise, He was refused bail and was scheduled to appear in the NSW Bail Division Court on Sunday.

The AFP is alleging the man struck a woman with his legs following an altercation.
The man was granted conditional bail and is to appear before Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 3 December, 2025.
